Dr. Naomi Smith
Doctor Of Chiropractic & Athletic Trainer
After receiving her Bachelor’s of Science in Athletic Training from Heidelberg University in 2019, Naomi Smith went to pursue Chiropractic. She then received her Doctorate of Chiropractic degree from Life University in Marietta, Georgia. While in chiropractic school, she worked as an Athletic Trainer to provide sports medicine interventions and rehabilitation to competitive and adolescent athletes in the Northern Atlanta area. With a strong clinical background in sports medicine and concussion research, Dr. Naomi is dedicated to understanding and addressing the neurologic and physiologic deficits of the human body. Additionally, she has a vast knowledge in functional nutrition and loves working with women and children.
Early in her schooling, she discovered Applied Kinesiology and is passionate about helping people to balance holistically by harmonizing the body structurally, chemically, and emotionally. Naomi found excitement in the concept of holistic medicine when she studied abroad during her undergraduate at National Taiwan Sport University where she worked with their collegiate athletic teams. She soon discovered that holistic medicine is an integral part of medicine as well as the culture. Addressing the problem rather than just the symptoms, she was amazed at how effective the rehabilitation was without medication or surgical intervention and the rest is history.
Naomi is ecstatic to have found Be Optimal and be able to work in an environment that is so aligned with her values and approach.
Naomi is a member of the ICAK (International College of Applied Kinesiology) and the NATA (National Athletic Trainer’s Association).
